Σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση της Οργανωτικής επιτροπής του 8ου KAVALA AIR/SEA SHOW 2019 αναβάλλεται λόγω … εθνικών εκλογών.
ΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΕΙ Η ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ
Στις 4 Ιουνίου 2019, συνεκλήθη εκτάκτως η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή Θέματος και αποφάσισε ομόφωνα τη δημοσιοποίηση του ακόλουθου Δελτίου Τύπου.
Σύμφωνα με την επίσημη δήλωση του κυβερνητικού εκπροσώπου της Ελληνικής Κυβέρνησης στα ΜΜΕ στις 28-5-2019, αναφέρθηκε ότι “ο Πρωθυπουργός, στις 10 Ιουνίου, θα ζητήσει από τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας τη διενέργεια Εθνικών Εκλογών στις 7 Ιουλίου 2019”. Κατόπιν αυτού, η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή του 8ου Kavala Air/Sea Show 2019 αποφάσισε ομόφωνα τα ακόλουθα:
Εξαιτίας της ανωτέρω έκτακτης κυβερνητικής απόφασης, γεγονός το οποίο αλλάζει ουσιαστικά τις προτεραιότητες σε Εθνικό επίπεδο, την ματαίωση της διοργάνωσης για το τρέχον έτος καθώς δεν υπάρχει δυνατότητα αναβολής αυτής, η οποία είχε επίσημα δημοσιοποιηθεί από τον Νοέμβριο του 2018.
Εκφράζουμε τη λύπη μας γι αυτήν την εξέλιξη ευχαριστώντας τις δεκάδες χιλιάδες επισκέπτες και φίλους από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, καθώς και τους εθελοντές μας, σε μια χρονική στιγμή που ετοιμαζόμασταν να δημοσιοποιήσουμε το επίσημο πρόγραμμα.

KAVALA AIR/SEA SHOW ORGANISING COMMITTEE PRESS RELEASE
On the 4th of June, the Kavala Air/Sea Show Organising Committe unanimously decided to announce the Press Release as written below.
According to the official statement of the Greek government spokesman, the Greek Prime Minister is going to ask the President of the Hellenic Republic to call for National Elections on the 7th of July 2019. The Organising Committee has, therefore, agreed on the following:
The cancellation of the 8th Kavala Air/Sea Show 2019, which has been organised since November 2018, due to the aforementioned urgent governmental decision that is shifting all priorities on a national level.
The decision was taken promptly with a view to limiting any possible losses in terms of costs -despite the fact that no entry fee is charged- and decision making on the part of the participants and the thousands of visitors and friends.
We would like to thank the thousands of visitors and friends from Greece and abroad ,as well as our volunteers, while expressing our sorrow for this outcome which coincided with the scheduled presentation of the official programme for the 8th Kavala Air/Sea Show 2019.
